2023 Year in Review
PWB Joy of Hope Foundation was started late January 2020 as a way to honor the memory of Parker Wade Burch (PWB). At that time, we partnered with 8 very special organizations that allow us to spread Joy and Hope within our community as we keep Parker’s light shining bright. This past year we continued partnerships with King’s Ridge Christian School , SFHS Softball, South Forsyth Lacrosse , South Forsyth High School Lacrosse, Forsyth County School Project Life Students, Cassie Cakes , Dawson County High School Fishing Team, VP Landscape LLC , Vickery Neighborhood, Princeton Square Neighborhood, Polo Golf & Country Club HOA, and The Republican Women of Forsyth County Georgia who helped assist the foundation in several community initiatives.
In March 2023, PWB Joy of Hope Foundation teamed up with The Place to deliver a delicious Easter lunch to 
patrons. 
In April 2023, we held our 3rd Annual PWB Golf Tournament. We were able to raise over $
, and grant Make a Wish Georgia dreams come true! 
In June 2023, PWB Joy of Hope Foundation was nominated as a nominee in the Best of Georgia 2023 in the category of Community and Business Organizations: Foundations for the The Georgia Business Journal ! We have WON
back to back years and were awarded with the title as one of the Best in Georgia Foundations! 
Also in June 2023, the Foundation had the honor of being chosen as the Coal Mountain Jersey Mike Grand Opening Charity. A huge Thank You to Kaylee Stephens for making this partnership become a reality! A donation was made to Children’s Hospital of Atlanta (CHOA) in honor of Kaylee in the amount of $

In August 2023, PWB Joy of Hope Foundation teamed up with T3packaging to donate personal hygiene packs to help aid high school aged youth for the 2023-2024 school year for The Place of Forsyth. We also were able to donate backpacks geared towards 25 middle schoolers and 25 high schoolers to Lakeland Baptist Church in Buford. 
In September 2023, PWB Joy of Hope Foundation was recognized as the 2023 Best in Cumming Charity.
In October, PWB Joy of Hope Foundation was nominated as a contender in the Best of Forsyth 2024 Non-Profit Organization category.
Also in October, PWB Joy of Hope Foundation was honored and humbled to partner with Polo Golf & Country Club HOA’s 2nd Annual Witches Ride. The monetary donations that were collected on our behalf went directly towards impacting the girls at Jesse’s House, Inc. The house was gifted a memorable Snow Island experience and dinner afterwards. 
In November, PWB Joy of Hope Foundation partnered with King’s Ridge Christian School ~High School, Polo Golf and Country Club Neighborhood, Vickery Neighborhood, Princeton Square Neighborhood, South Forsyth Softball, South Forsyth Lacrosse, South Forsyth Basketball, VP Landscape, and The Republican Women of Forsyth to assist with packing ALL 
Thanksgiving food boxes for The Place of Forsyth.
A handful of local athletes showed their support for PWB on the field by wearing a PWB logo either on their helmet, cleats, or bat. PWB was also a sponsor of a local fishing team who adorned our logo on their competition shirts for their high school team as well as their Bass Nation competition shirts. They even qualified for the National High School Fishing Championship and World Finals in Wisconsin this past summer!
PWB Joy of Hope created a Christmas Angel Gift Card Tree in honor of the girls at Jesse’s House, Inc. and The Place of Forsyth Cottage. With the generous outpouring of love and support, we were able to gift all 13 residents a gift card tree valued at $200 plus a handmade bracelet for all residents, a soft cuddly blanket, a bath and body works gift set, tons of toiletry/makeup/stationary items, and a $750 donation that will go towards the Snow Island experience and dinner. A special shout out to South Forsyth Lacrosse and South Forsyth High School Girls Lacrosse teams for your continued support.
2023 was a year of Love, a year of Grace, a year of Fulfillment, a year of Joy, and a year of Hope. Over the past 4 years, we are so very honored and blessed to announce that PWB Joy of Hope Foundation has raised over $
